What is Service Location?
As you create jobs in Field Complete, you will find that every job and project have to be assigned a customer and service location. The customer will be who is paying for the services, and service location is WHERE the job is happening.
Field Complete Customers & Service Locations
Within Field Complete, every Customer & Service Location that is entered is also saved as a profile. The Customer is linked to the Service Location, in the same fashion that Jobs are linked to Projects. This structure allows fluid data for the two data points that matter the most, who is responsible for payment, and where you will provide services.
Service Location Data
Field Complete offers several data types to store information, including custom fields that can be added from your settings. The address fields offer references to Google, to allow for validation, as well as location verification via Google Maps.
Service Location Contacts
Similar to Customers, Service Locations can have multiple contacts within the profile. The primary contact can be updated at any time, and contacts can be assigned a company type. (shown on right side in screenshot above)

The Service Location is always shown along the right pane of both your Project and Job view. As a reminder, all jobs and invoices within each Project must have the same Service Location and Customer.
Edit Service Location after Job is Created
Service Location Updates:
Open in a new tab:
Opens profile for Service Location, which allows any changes to update across all projects attached to the service location.
Change Service Location:
Opens the option to change the service location entirely. This would only affect the given Project and Job(s).
Data Upload
For companies that have an existing list of service locations, Field Complete offers the option upload data manually. In this manner, locations can be stored prior to service requests, and immediately accelerating the process of creating jobs and projects.
