The dashboard is the starting point towards job, invoice, and general company management. Once it is time to get the next job, or view schedule for the day, the best approach is the calendar view(down arrow).

Daily Calendar

A daily mobile calendar is very helpful for field technicians. It lets them easily check, change, and handle their work schedule from their phone. They get quick updates and reminders about new jobs or schedule changes, so they can respond right away. Having everything—like job details and directions—in one app means less paperwork and fewer mistakes, making their work smoother and better for customers.

Route Map

The arrow at the top right highlights how you can view your daily route.

Route View

The daily route is shown on a map, giving you quick access to directions for each job. From this view, you can access each job's details, and features like Google Maps help ensure you get to the job successfully.

As shown by the arrow, immediately get back to the daily calendar at any time. Easy access to each view simplifies the process of locating each job, and improving customer satisfaction.

Seeing work orders (or jobs) in both calendar and map view on a field service platform offers significant value for managing daily tasks efficiently. The calendar view provides a clear timeline of all scheduled jobs, helping technicians and managers visualize what needs to be done by day, week, or month. This organized list prevents overlapping appointments and makes rescheduling simpler, enabling quick adjustments when priorities shift. It also improves customer service as technicians can stick to their schedules, arriving on time and prepared for each job.

The map view adds another layer of efficiency by showing the geographic locations of all jobs in real time. This visual helps dispatchers assign tasks based on proximity, reducing travel time and fuel costs. Route optimization through integrated mapping tools like Google Maps further streamlines workflow, allowing technicians to find the quickest paths between jobs. Additionally, real-time updates and traffic data ensure routes can be adjusted on the fly, minimizing delays and boosting overall productivity. Together, calendar and map views simplify field operations, enable smarter scheduling, and enhance service delivery.
