Functionality
The function of job types is primarily to organize jobs as they are generated. Based on the visibility, the job type allows all users, including customer, to have confirmation on the services meant to be provided.
In addition, job types contribute to one of the most productive features of Field complete, the Price Book.
Price Book is the relationship between job types and line items that allows the user to sort line items based on each job type. Actively using these features streamlines the customer experience by allowing field technicians to quickly update the job scope while drastically reducing human error.
