Attachments: The Project view provides an area to manage your attachments. Please keep in mind, attachments at the Project view, provide access to all attachments within the Project. In addition, there is a space for Project files that are not attached to a Job.

  • Project Files: Attachments that are not related to a single Job within the Project, and based on this, would not be accessible by technicians or contractors assigned to Jobs within the Project.

Attachments have an alternative view, which allows you to see your files in a list view. This view is preferred should you want to mass select files to make a single edit. In fact, this would be the needed view to delete attachments, as well as update the status of the file. Note: The paperclip icon will signal whether the attachment will be included with invoice and estimate.

  • Rename: A tip for Field Complete users includes updating the file name for customer facing purposes, as well as internal use. The file name is viewed on the invoice, should you decide to include it.

  • Show to customer: Once a file is set to be shown on the invoice, the paperclip icon is blue. The toggle between each settings is changed with the "show to customer" option.

  • Download File: Files are downloaded in the same format that they were uploaded. In most cases, files are downloaded to have a backup version, or to print as needed.
